WHERE DO I START?
My name is Katrina.
I have a list of all the things I want to do in this life and I am ticking them off.
Two years ago I was getting up at 5am to clean BBQs in my local caravan park and painting in my shed when I had the time.
The job wasn’t pretty but it paid ok, I’d go down to the beach after and walk and do yoga…it was ok.
My life was ordered, it was nice, it was safe. I had my kids and my shed and I was content.
I’d talk about how I’d love my artwork to be out there but never did anything much about it. I had great ideas and big plans and they were always just that. I’d start stuff…
TODAY I design, make and sell tshirts and am in the process of designing a range of my own brand of clothing (tick), I’m a hippy market chick (tick), I’ve sold quite a bit of work – people have paid $1000 for paintings I’ve made (yay-tick), I’m moving into a house by the beach (tick), I DO stuff (tick).
I have so many amazing people around me who believe in me and what I do (tick, tick, tick!).
At some stage I will go to Uni and study art for the experience (another tick) but for now I’m too busy just doing what feels good!
Life is good – it’s all about colour and playing and jumping, feet first into it and getting messy.
I am the luckiest girl ever.
